The Zoo moved to its current 188-acre location in 1997 and has developed just under half of its land, which was generously donated to the city by the Croft family under a condition that it had to be used as a ‘nature study area’. We are accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and are a completely integrated hospital that utilizes electronic medical records, in-house blood machines, bladeless radiowave surgery, and digital x-rays to provide the highest standard of care for your pets. We are located just past Two Rivers Ford on the right off Belinda Parkway. He went on to graduate from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Hollis has been around Mt. Juliet for 15 years and chose to move back to practice following his veterinary school graduation in 2000. He worked for Animal Care Center for 9 years. Following his departure there, he chose to provide relief work for the Animal Medical Center in M'boro, as well as, other veterinary practices while PAH was being built. PAH was awarded a nat'l honor in 2011 for being the 2nd "most green friendly animal hospital in the United States" by ImproMed software company. PAH was also honored as a Community Enhancement winner by the Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Aaron Hollis is a 2000 veterinary school graduate of Auburn University. He also holds a degree in Biochemistry from Western KY University. Dr. Hollis is a USDA certified veterinarian and has been boarded in Tennessee, Alabama, and Kentucky, He has continuing education or additional training in Emergency Critical Care, American Association of Feline Practioners, Feline Internal Medicine, University of Tennessee Soft tissue surgery techniques, Otic (ear) wet lab endoscopy, advanced wound care management techniques, therapeutic laser rehabilitation, and bladeless radiowave surgery. He is a member of the AVMA, TVMA, and Emergency Critical Care Society. Dr. Hollis lives in Mt. Juliet with his wife Vickie and daughter Lauren. He enjoys the outdoors, plays softball and basketball.
